Football Parking

Here at Smithfield, we offer spots for people to park in for Virginia Tech Hokies football home games. Our spots are in a scenic setting, have room for a beautiful tailgating experience, are only 8/10 mile from Lane Stadium, and feature real restrooms!

When you reserve a parking spot for a game in our lot, that spot is available to you for the entirety of the game day.

Staff will be on-site 3 hours before kickoff. Please keep this in mind for nighttime games. If you arrive to tailgate before staff is on site, please make sure to find a staff member so you can be checked in. The cost of a spot per game is $50.

NOTE: Refunds are not offered, but parking spot purchasers may make arrangements to transfer parking to someone else. Notifications of transfers must be communicated to museum staff at least five hours before kickoff on gameday. Notifications must be emailed to info@historicsmithfield.org.

Below is a map of the Smithfield parking lot. To reserve a spot for one of the games, click on one of the numbered spots below, select the game that you would like to reserve the spot for, and add it to your cart. Each game now has to be purchased on an individual basis.

CAUTION: The spots at the top of the map by the split rail fence (spots 23-38) are below black walnut trees. These walnuts may fall on your vehicle if parked in these spots. We are not liable for any damages that may occur should you park here.
